Turbo Jam
Alright, I have been obsessed with a class at Gold's Gym for the last year. It is called Turbo Kick which is the same thing that you see on the infomercials for Turbo Jam. It is the most fun workout in the whole world and I finally broke down and bought the dvd's because I couldn't always make it to the gym class because of Jon's work schedules. And I wanted to be able to do them whenever I felt the urge to get a great workout. So I got them last Saturday and I have convinced Jon to do them with me everyday. He is such a great sport and he is actually having fun and we are getting buff. I am a huge advocate of how much fun Turbo Jam is and if you are looking for a great workout that is not boring you should try it out, you won't regret it, we sure haven't!!
Calvin and Lily
Here is an Easter picture of Calvin and Lily. It has taken me forever to put it on here because I have been busy with so many other things and our scanner has not been cooperating. For some reason it is scanning everything black and white. I need to figure it out. But I thought I would post one anyways. As soon as I fix the scanner I will post some more. Walmart did an okay job but for $7 I am not complaining. They are adorable kids in any picture.
Two Closings, wahoo!!
This week we closed on Joe and Jeri's buy and sale. After only a few crazy experiences, like termites, missing money, fight over a slide, everything turned out wonderfully and they are in their new home tonight. I am so happy for them, they got their dream house and it was a joy to work with them along with my brother Joe (who did the loan) and my good friend Chelsey (the escrow officer). Thanks to everyone who made this a successful transaction.
Protecting us from Dragons and Monsters
So Calvin has been on this Super Hero kick lately and it is very entertaining. We have been reading him a lot of fairy tales, especially Sir Kevin of Devin. This morning he woke up and told me that he would protect me from the monsters and he would slay the dragon for me and Lily. We were running errands this afternoon and we stopped by Party Land and he said he had to get Davey a sword for his birthday so he could slay the dragon and protect us too. Davey turned two today and he is one of our friends kids. I got Calvin and Davey swords and they protected us from dragons at the party, mostly by sword fighting with all of the other kids. I love this world of pretend. I was playing pretend with Calvin the other day and he was the dad and I was the daughter and he drove me all around town in his little play car and we visited Grandma Nancy, and Papa Jeffrey at the Post Office and got ice cream and every time we got back in the car he would buckle my pretend seatbelt and then ask me to buckle his. It is so fun hearing all of the creative things that are flowing through his imagination. And Lily loves driving Calvin's car and she is a much safer driver than he is. She is also a great explorer these days, she gets into everything and she attempts to climb the stairs everyday. These kids are growing up so fast. I wish I could bottle all of our experiences, but I guess blogging will have to do for now.

Moab Pictures
We had to see atleast one jeep roll down potato salad. That is the best part, watching drunk people ruin their vehicles.Wonderful Moab weekend, horrible real estate weekend
Moab was so much fun, besides Calvin throwing up from getting car sick and Lily having a fever of 102 (she cut her first tooth). It was great weather and great 4-wheelin. We took the kids on Fins and Things jeep trail and they had a blast. Jon's truck made it through the toughest obstacle, at one point we thought he would have to push the mountain to get past the hill but he didn't give up (because the guys never do) and he made it up. Calvin thought riding in my dad's jeep was the best thing in the world. I think he loved it more than Bob the Builder. We watched Calvin do the Easter egg hunt at a park in Moab and we took Lily Swimming for the first time. She looked so adorable in her swimming suit and she loved splashing in the water. Jon got to drive his little RC crawler that he has been building for weeks and it drove great. It could side hill like a spider. It was fun to watch. We came home late Saturday night so that we could have Easter morning at our house and go to church. Then we had Easter dinner at Jon's Dad's house which was very fun and Calvin got even more candy. We actually have enough candy to feed a small country for a week. We had a great time; however, when I was gone both of my under contract listing fell through. So they are back on the market. It is okay though, I think they will both sell soon. And one of the buyers was driving me crazy. I think they were not meant to get these awesome houses. The right people will come a long soon. And Calvin made my bad day go away by saying the sweetest thing. We were sitting in sacrament meeting and I lifted Calvin on to my lap and said "I love this boy" and kissed him on the forehead. He looked up at me with those beautiful blue eyes and long dark eyelashes and said "I love this girl" and kissed my lips. It was so sweet, he made me feel so much better. Enjoy the Moab pictures.

New calling again
So, last week the bishopric called and said they needed to come over and talk to me. I was quite worried because I already had two callings. I wondered what they wanted. It ends up that they wanted me to be the new Laurel advisor. Yeah, I love Young Women's. They took away the Relief Society calling. So I only taught twice. I enjoyed it though. The program calling should be gone soon, but who knows. This new calling will be really fun. I hope I can find time for everything. Things are so busy around here. I got two listings under contract last week and I am working with 2 other ones and 3 buyers. I just hope these deals close so that I can get paid for all of my hard work. I love being busy, it keeps my mind and body working and it makes me feel good.
Update on the kids
Last week Calvin was playing in the garage with Jon and his friend Joe and they told Calvin that he was "One of the Guys". I guess that really made him feel good because whenever I call his name he says "I'm not Calvin, I'm the guys". It cracks me up. And sometimes he'll randomly add "I'm the guys and the farmer" from the farmer in the dell song.
Lily has started to army crawl. She will go from sitting to scooting, to leaning forward and army crawling. It is really fun to watch. And she is so fun to dance with. Whenever I spin she laughs and laughs.
