Mezmorized by a fly named Crawly

This morning we are all sitting at the kitchen table eating waffles and Calvin bursts out "Mom look, there is a fly in here." Then he decides it is the coolest thing he has ever seen and the rest of breakfast goes as follows (all Calvin): " Mom, where did the fly go? Oh, there it is! Oh no, it is going to get Lily's waffle. Fly, don't get Lily's waffle. Mom it matches the table, I can't see him. Oh, here he is. Hi Bug, I can't see his face, Where is his face? Mom, he is scratching the table. I can't see his fingernails. He is little. Look he is crawling under the table, he goes upside down. Hi Crawly. I named him crawly. Oh no, where did crawly go. (Lily starts pointing and laughing at the fly on the table, she is also very entertained.) There he is." Jon and I laughed all through breakfast, isn't it great what kids can find entertaining?

Looking for a starter home in Santaquin?

I got a listing in Santaquin yesterday. It is a twin home 3 beds, 1 bath for $124,900. If you know anyone looking that way let me know. Or the mobile home is still available for $68,000 or the Mona Home with 4 car garage and horse property for $349,000. Thanks for the referrals, I love working with friends and friends of friends and family. I wouldn't be in business with out you guys.

Temples and Testimonies

Last week Jon and I went to do sealings at the temple and I had a really cool experience. I was invited to be in a live sealing. A lady was there with her husband and she was being sealed to her parents who were deceased and so they asked me to be her mother. It was a really special experience.

Ever since conference Calvin has been bearing his testimony to me everyday. It is simple and so cute. "I like to bear my testimony, I know this church is true, Jesus Christ Amen." Every once in a while he will throw in Pres. Monson is a true prophet or I love Travis in Mexico.

Muddy Buddy Fun

Muddy Buddies are a yummy chocolate chex mix. When it was cold last week Calvin asked if we could make some and because I can't resist them, I said yes. Calvin wore his Home Depot apron and made a huge mess out of chocolate but he had so much fun.

We also made silly glasses today out of straws and construction paper and Calvin thought they were so cool.

New Beds

So we made the switch. Calvin is now out of his crib and it has been passed on to Lily. Calvin was kind of sad but he was really excited about his new bed. Jon and I were actually a little sad, Calvin always loved his crib and he would sleep and nap perfectly in it from the day he was born. But a couple of months ago he stopped taking naps so we decided to make the switch and it has been great. Here are some pictures of the happy kids.

Turbo Jam

Alright, I have been obsessed with a class at Gold's Gym for the last year. It is called Turbo Kick which is the same thing that you see on the infomercials for Turbo Jam. It is the most fun workout in the whole world and I finally broke down and bought the dvd's because I couldn't always make it to the gym class because of Jon's work schedules. And I wanted to be able to do them whenever I felt the urge to get a great workout. So I got them last Saturday and I have convinced Jon to do them with me everyday. He is such a great sport and he is actually having fun and we are getting buff. I am a huge advocate of how much fun Turbo Jam is and if you are looking for a great workout that is not boring you should try it out, you won't regret it, we sure haven't!!

Calvin and Lily

Here is an Easter picture of Calvin and Lily. It has taken me forever to put it on here because I have been busy with so many other things and our scanner has not been cooperating. For some reason it is scanning everything black and white. I need to figure it out. But I thought I would post one anyways. As soon as I fix the scanner I will post some more. Walmart did an okay job but for $7 I am not complaining. They are adorable kids in any picture.

Two Closings, wahoo!!

This week we closed on Joe and Jeri's buy and sale. After only a few crazy experiences, like termites, missing money, fight over a slide, everything turned out wonderfully and they are in their new home tonight. I am so happy for them, they got their dream house and it was a joy to work with them along with my brother Joe (who did the loan) and my good friend Chelsey (the escrow officer). Thanks to everyone who made this a successful transaction.

Protecting us from Dragons and Monsters

So Calvin has been on this Super Hero kick lately and it is very entertaining. We have been reading him a lot of fairy tales, especially Sir Kevin of Devin. This morning he woke up and told me that he would protect me from the monsters and he would slay the dragon for me and Lily. We were running errands this afternoon and we stopped by Party Land and he said he had to get Davey a sword for his birthday so he could slay the dragon and protect us too. Davey turned two today and he is one of our friends kids. I got Calvin and Davey swords and they protected us from dragons at the party, mostly by sword fighting with all of the other kids. I love this world of pretend. I was playing pretend with Calvin the other day and he was the dad and I was the daughter and he drove me all around town in his little play car and we visited Grandma Nancy, and Papa Jeffrey at the Post Office and got ice cream and every time we got back in the car he would buckle my pretend seatbelt and then ask me to buckle his. It is so fun hearing all of the creative things that are flowing through his imagination. And Lily loves driving Calvin's car and she is a much safer driver than he is. She is also a great explorer these days, she gets into everything and she attempts to climb the stairs everyday. These kids are growing up so fast. I wish I could bottle all of our experiences, but I guess blogging will have to do for now.
