My little hillbilly

Calvin has lost so many of his front teeth lately he looks like a little hillbilly.

Calvin earned his Bobcat and is now working on his Wolf. And I got my first Mother's pin.

first day of school

Calvin is in third grade and Lily is in 1st grade.

6 years old

Lily turned six on June 22nd. She had a fun water party with her friends and cousins. We also spent a day swimming at Seven peaks to celebrate. Lily is such a sweet girl. She is a naturally caring and nurturing girl. She loves to help and take care of people. She is such a good sister to Ava and always making sure Ava is comfortable and taken care of. Lily brings so much sunshine and happiness to our home. I am sure going to miss her when she goes into 1st grade and she is gone all day. She is growing up too fast. We love her so much.

8 is great!!

On July 14th Calvin turned 8 years old. He had been planning on a "late night" party with all of his friends but
the night of the party a huge rainstorm came through and last minute we had to change all of our plans. Instead of outdoor night games we played inside games with 12 boys. It was loud and crazy. But Calvin had a good time. A couple of weeks later on August 3rd he was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. It was a wonderful day. The sun was shining and so was Calvin. Lots of family came to support Calvin. After the service Calvin said, "That was so fun I want to do it again." Jon and I replied,"you did!" When he was baptized his little toes popped up out of the water and he had to be baptized again. Jon said there wasn't much water in the font and he pretty much had to lay Calvin down. Calvin didn't mind at all. Jon gave Calvin a beautiful confirmation blessing when he received the Holy Ghost. Jon blessed him to always listen to and follow the Holy Ghost. We had a fun nacho lunch at our home afterwards. It was a great day.

All day family project

We are trying to teach the kids the value of hard work. And the city is making us trim our hedge before school starts. The kids workef hard and did a good job helping us.

Sweet baby girl

I just love my new niece. My sister BreAnna just had her baby girl today 7lbs 7oz 20 inch still trying to pick a name.

I am Fwee

That is what Ava tells everyone, "I am fwee." She turned three in May and I am just now writing about my little 3 year old. She is so funny. That girls says so many witty things.  She says amember (remember), and acause (because) and other words without the first letters, it's so cute. She shows every emotion with passion. She loves everything princess, she is such a girly girl.

She has beautiful big blue eyes and cute rosy chubby cheeks that everyone wants to pinch. She is potty trained and so excited for Joy school this year. She is anxious to learn and she loves to play with Calvin and Lily. She thinks she is bigger than she is. I don't know what I would do without my little Avsy entertaining me everyday. We love her.
