No, Calvin is not flipping off the camera, he just got done pointing to something out the car window. This is the finger that Calvin points with. We haven't said anything to him because Jon thinks that it is so funny. But he points to everything like this. Should we tell him that pointing with this finger means something else or not worry about it because no one is going to think our sweet little Calvin is flipping them the bird?

That is a tough decision. Hope you make the right one:) Right now it isn't a big deal, but later it could cause problems!!
Of course he isn't flipping off the camera. He isn't even looking at it. You can plainly tell he is flipping Lily off, who is seated in the car seat next to him.
LOL...ok that cracked me up because Wyatt use to do it. I just nicely told him to point with a different finger..i didn't say way..and still everyone once in a while he still does it. And i have this feeling that Jon is the one making some of these comments.
I wouldn't tell him what it means, just that he is supposed to point with the finger next to his thumb.. haha.. pretty funny.
Haha- I actually noticed that the other day when he was here. The kids were looking at a book and he was using that finger to point to the pictures. Funny!
I think that he is fine pointing like that. It's not a big deal at this age what finger he uses to point with. He doesn't know the difference. Just my opinion.
