Lily's birthday

I can't believe that it's been 8 years since our little Lily bug was born. She is such a blessing in our lives. She is sweet and loving and kind and helpful. For her birthday she wanted to go to Funtopia and do some rock climbing. We had a fun time as a family. We went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant and then went to pick out her present at Toys R Us. She chose these cute little happy puppies that zoom around. I gave her a couple of new dresses in the morning and we also gave her her very own set of scriptures with her name on them. Also, a very fun thing happened. She had been wanting the old tiny Polly Pockets, since they don't sell them anymore I had been trying to win them on eBay. The night before her birthday we stopped by Jon's sisters house and as we were walking in I was holding my phone about to make a bid on a polly pocket but I got distracted and started talking to somebody and forgot to make the bid. Jon's sister Emily asked what I was bidding on and I told her that we had been wanting the old miniature Polly Pockets. She told Jon and I to come up stairs and she showed us her own personal stash of Polly Pockets from when she was a little girl. She let us take them home for Lily. On Lily's birthday I hid them all over the house and sent her on a scavenger hunt to find them. She was so happy about getting those that she started crying. She had a very happy and fun day.

Friends

I Had fun meeting up with my best friends from high school today. It's hard to believe its been 13 years since we graduated high school and we all have several kids. It was fun to visit.

Birthday

Calvin made me this birthday card.  I just love it. I love the detail he put into it and the sweet poem. It makes me smile everytime I look at it.

Meet Twitchell

This is our new bunny Twitchell we love him just as much as fluff muffin and we're excited he is in our family he is a very cute bunny.

Unfortunately Twitchell passed away a few weeks after we got him because of an ear infection. We have no idea why we had such bad luck with two little bunnies. We really loved them and took such good care of them. We ended up selling our bunny stuff because it was so heartbreaking for our family.

Fluff Muffin

The kids have been wanting a bunny forever. So I decided to take them to go and hold some to see if they are allergic to them because they're allergic to almost all pets. They were not allergic to the bunnies so we decided to let them get one. We research the bunnies and chose a holland lop. We got all the best stuff for him. A nice hutch, good food, good hay, good bedding we spent $250 getting ready to bring home our new little pet. The kids even chipped in $40. On Thursday night we got to bring him home we named him Fluff muffin because he was so cute and fluffy. We all loved him and played with him and were so excited to have him. One day after we got him he got diarrhea. We did everything we knew how to try to help him but he died during the night. We are all heartbroken. Jon buried him out back under the plum tree. Rest in peace little Fluff Muffin.

Ava's eyes

At church yesterday I think Ava felt the spirit because she got a little teary eyed and then she came up to me and said, "Mom, I think my eyes are bleeding."

Lana is 6 months old

I can't believe that my little girl is 6 months old. She is such a sweet cute little thing. She is only in the 3rd percentile for weight. She has always had a hard time eating and I had mentioned it to the doctors at several of her appointments that I thought she might have acid reflux. but because she doesn't spit up a lot they didn't prescribe any medicine. Yesterday at her doctor's appointment the Dr. said I think we need to get her on some medicine and see if it helps her be able to eat better. We are going to try it out see if it helps her to stop screaming while she eats. Other than that she is totally healthy and cute as can be. She loves to chew on her toes. She has two little teeth that she got at three months old. She loves eating solid foods. But she does not like to be set down, so she can't really roll over or crawl yet. She does love to chew on anything she can get her hands on. Here are some pictures I took in my basement today with the help of my little assistant Ava.

What to do

This little monkey is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. And when she's happy she is so much fun. Unfortunately  most of the time she is just really fussy and wants to be held and walked around. Today is one of those days I just don't know what to do with her. I am so exhausted. My back hurts and I just feel frazzled with having such a fussy baby that is almost 6 months old. I would think by now she would be a lot happier and lay on the floor for a few minutes and roll around but every time I lay her down she screams like she is going to die and I just feel so bad for her. Poor Ava, I never get to play with her because Lana is screaming. The house is always a mess. And I can never get enough time to get anything done. It is extremely frustrating, I just wish that I could figure out how to help his little one to not be so fussy all the time.
