6 years old

On July 14th Calvin turned 6 years old. Being 6 for Calvin means drawing, playing with friends, and loving everything about life. Calvin wakes up with a smile on his face. He is excited for the day to begin and what fun things will unfold. Calvin is an extremely kind and happy little boy. He is a peacemaker in our home and with his friends. He is a great friend to everyone. He plays with Ethan just about everyday but he also likes to play with Kaden, Alan, Reed and Treyson. They play pirates, and Star Wars and anything that makes a lot of noise and sound effects and allows them to run around fighting invisible enemies. Most days Calvin can be found in the backyard on the trampoline or swing set with his friends and Lily. Calvin and Lily are great friends and they play really well together. Although, I have noticed lately that he does want to be left alone sometimes or he wants to play with his friends without his sisters. Calvin also loves to go to Santaquin and play with his cousins, I think sometimes he wishes he wasn't surrounded by all girls though. Calvin's imagination is wonderful. He can go on and on telling me everything that is going on in his head, trying to explain all of the exciting details. He has built a whole world called Magicland and I can not even begin to tell you about it, I would not do it justice. But I would not be surprised if we all get to read about it one day in a book that Calvin writes. He loves drawing and writing. He wants to grow up to make movies. And he says he wants to be the next Walt Disney. He wants to create Magicland just like Disneyland. Wow, he has ambitious dreams. We will support him in whatever he enjoys doing. Calvin has also become quite the cyclist this spring and summer. We take him on family bike rides and he can go for about 6 miles without complaining or getting to tired. He is tough and has strong little legs considering he has a 16 inch bike with no gears. Life is fun with Calvin around, we all love him so much.
