The front yard

We have finished our front yard project and we just love it. We took out all of the ground cover that was in the flower beds and took out several plants to help it have a cleaner look, where the plants were more separated. Jon tore out all of the curbing and put dirt under it to raise it up. We evened all of the dirt out and put down the black weed guard stuff and then we put peach and white pea gravel down. We took out the flower bed that was under the red tree and the flower bed on the far side of the yard and put grass sod down. Both of those spots look a little higher then the rest of the yard but hopefully they will settle and blend right in. We also cleaned up the mailbox spot. The neighbors came and helped one afternoon because they wanted Jon to weld their trailer for them so they traded him jobs.

We did all of this hoping for a cleaner, nicer look and easier time weeding and keeping up with it. So far we love it.
