I am Fwee

That is what Ava tells everyone, "I am fwee." She turned three in May and I am just now writing about my little 3 year old. She is so funny. That girls says so many witty things.  She says amember (remember), and acause (because) and other words without the first letters, it's so cute. She shows every emotion with passion. She loves everything princess, she is such a girly girl.

She has beautiful big blue eyes and cute rosy chubby cheeks that everyone wants to pinch. She is potty trained and so excited for Joy school this year. She is anxious to learn and she loves to play with Calvin and Lily. She thinks she is bigger than she is. I don't know what I would do without my little Avsy entertaining me everyday. We love her.

Kitchen Rehab

Kitchen before with hole in ceiling and kitchen after. We are still working on the backsplash and beadboard and floor but I was excited to show the difference, even if they are just cell phone pictures.

Forts

Our basement has been a constant fort this summer. It has been fun to see what the kids create.

Busy day

Today was such a fun and busy day. We started out by going to the parade and booths at Alpine days. The girls got their face painted and Calvin got to try out a PVC pipe bow and arrow. We also got some yummy sugar house donuts to share.

We then went to Ace Hardware and got a free quart of paint for free paint day. To paint our living room I decided on a grayish brown color called revere pewter,I hope it looks nice.

Then on a whim I decided to stop by the Bass outlet to look for some sandles for me and we just so happened upon a great sale. All of the sandles were on clearance 80 percent off plus if you bought two pairs or more you got an extra 25 percent off. You have no idea how hard it is for me to find shoes that are comfortable and my sandals that I've been wearing for the last 5 years are completely worn out but I haven't been able to find cute comfy sandals to replace them. Today I found 6 pairs that I love and I got all of them for the price of one. I was beyond excited about this.

Then I took the kids to Trafalga and we went on rides and played arcade games. This nice couple walked up and gave us all of their tickets for free because they said they weren't going to use them. I love nice people and the simple acts of kindness that just make your day.

Tonight after dinner we rode our bikes over to the park and watched a free live concert. The kids had a blast dancing around.

What a fun and wonderful day.

Tv wasn't worth this.

While Jon was putting the TV antenna in the attic his foot went through the kitchen ceiling.

911

The other night Jon left for work, he's working graveyard these days. As I climbed into bed I heard something that sounded just like someone was trying to get into the back door. It was really starting to freak me out so I grab the phone in my room and dial 911. The lady answered and said what's your emergency? I said it sounds like someone is breaking into my back door. I am going to go take a look. As I turn the corner into the kitchen I looked down and noticed that it is the hamsters we are babysitting scratching on their cage. I kind of started laughing and told her I forgot we're babysitting hamsters and she laughed and said she was glad we were safe. That was really scary for a moment and then really funny.

Goodbye 236 e 1640 n Pleasant Grove

I am finally getting around to posting pictures of our old house. We loved this house and yard and neighborhood and cul-de-sac and the ward. We have missed it a lot the last 4 months while we have been in our apartment. But we are excited to be moving closer to the kids school and having a little more room for our family. This is an exciting new chapter in our lives. But we do really miss and love all the wonderful people we got to know while living in our home in the Northfield 8th ward. This was a really great home for our family and we hope our next one is just as wonderful. Goodbye to our home on 1640.
