Moab

Jon and our next door neighbor Ed have been working on their Moab vehicles for months. Every spare minute has been spent in the drive way preparing for Easter weekend. Ed had never been to Moab and he was stoked when we invited him to come with us. With the deadline so close, a lot of extra money was spent that wasn't in the budget, and a lot of extra time that was not on the agenda.

After the months and months of prep work on the blazer we finally made it to Moab; however, we did not make it there without stories to tell. On the way to Spanish Fork Canyon the blazer started rocking like crazy on the freeway. I thought we were going to die for sure. We got to spanish without me peeing my pants and Jon bought new shocks for the blazer and put them on in the parking lot. It helped the rocking a little bit but we now call the blazer the big blue house boat. I actually got motion sickness riding down there.

In Moab we had fun four wheeling. However, we discovered the body mounts on the boat were broken, the steering box broke, Ed's 4 wheel drive was not working and so on and so on. More time on the pavement in the hotel parking lot and things were working again. And more wheeling. All and all the blazer did really well. It went anywhere Jon could mange to steer it and some places he didn't mean to steer it. The kids and I ended up driving home with my parents just in case the steering box completley fell off the frame while Jon was driving home. Luckily, we all made it home with no problem, except the snow storm that kept us in Spanish fork canyon for way too long. And the boat sits happily in the driveway waiting for some TLC from Jon.
Here we are with the blazer with new Transmission, shocks and everything else I can't remember.

Waiting to eat yummy Zax pizza!

Ed's orange Beast.

Lily got scared in a few spots, she especially did not like bahaing in the sand.
Grandpa and Grandma's Jeep. Here we are with neighbor Ed and his daughter Sammy in front of our mobiles.

With Grandma at the annual Easter egg hunt.

Getting ready to take a swim at the hotel.

Domi and Tyler came to check out Moab for their first time and Jon took them on Hell's revenge. They both loved it.

Calvin got this cute little dog at the egg hunt.
Lily got all of these necklaces and a cute little bunny.Watching trucks go up potato salad. Calvin fell right to sleep because he fell and scraped his hand and cried himself tired.
