BreAnna's Baby Shower
I am very excited that my sister is due to have her first baby in July. She is expecting a little boy and I was lucky enough to throw her a baby shower with my mom and sisters in law in my backyard. It was beautiful June weather and we had a good time. She got so many cute things. The blanket she is holding up was made by Nancy, Jon's mom. And the last picture is the outfit I gave her. I was anxious to give her this outfit because she loves dogs and it has a cute little dog and it says I love mommy. How fun it will be to have a new little nephew!

Family Pictures June 2011
We had a service auction for a Relief Society activity a few months ago. The activity was a blast and I won the bid on free family pictures from Cat Poulsen, owner of Knees and Toes Photography. We went up to Gardner Village on a Saturday morning in June and had a good time getting our pictures taken. Thank you Cat, we love how they turned out!

Lily's Preschool Graduation
Lily is done with her first year of preschool. She really loved going to Miss Janae's a couple times a week and she is excited to go back next year. She learned her numbers 1-10. Her colors and shapes. She also learned how to sort. She knows her letters and there sounds pretty well. She is a social bug and loves to play with the kids in class and Miss Janae said that she always listens to instruction and she is always nice to everyone. Her program was really cute. They learned songs about colors and sang them to their families. Her program was on my birthday. We went out to pizza and ice cream to celebrate both. It was May 27th and it was pretty cold and rainy, look at my mom and Ava all bundled up. The weather sure has been cold this spring.
Calvin's Kindergarten Graduation
I can't believe Calvin is done with Kindergarten. He loved Kindergarten and so did I. I loved that he was only gone for a few hours each day and I loved helping in his class. He was always having fun and excited to go to school. He learned how to read this year. He can read really well, he was on level D at the end of the school year. He loves writing stories and his teacher said that he was the best writer in the class. She said he was a writing machine, he would write at least a page a day in his journal each morning and draw a picture to go with the story. I need to take a picture of his journal and post some of his stories. His program was really fun to watch. I am having a really hard time thinking about sending him to first grade. I don't want him to be gone all day. It is so sad for me to think about not having him here to eat lunch and talk to me. And Lily is going to be so lonely. Her best friend is going to be gone for most of the day. Oh man, do I have to send him? He is growing up so fast.
