More summer fun

Ava in her patriotic shirt at the Orem Parade. We love going to all of the parades and city festivals in the summer.

Jeremy Van Schoonhoven came to Utah for the outdoor expo. I can't believe I didn't get any better pictures than this. But Jon really thinks Jeremy is cool. He is the trials biker from America's Got Talent. Jon was chosen as a volunteer for Jeremy to do stunts with. Jon had to lay on the floor and risk his life as Jeremy did all sorts of crazy things around and over him. At one point I thought we might not be able to have any more kids because of where Jeremy almost landed. Of course it was planned and it made the audience laugh.

Calvin got to go to a summer writing camp for three days at his school. No, they didn't sleep over, it was for 2 hours everyday. He had so much fun writing stories and making fun things.

This is Calvin's church talk. He wrote it and gave it himself. He did such a great job.

This is the "UP" house in Utah. We love the movie "UP" so we wanted to go see the house they built for the parade of homes. We didn't have tickets to go in but I wanted to drive the kids past. When we got there a very nice older couple asked if we had tickets and we said we just came to see the outside. They gave us their tickets to go inside because each ticket gets a reentry. That was so nice of them. The house was made to look just like the movie. It was awesome.
