Ava 10 months old

In the last few months Ava has grown up so much. I love kissing her beautiful little face. And making her laugh. She loves playing peek a boo. If you say, "Where's Ava?" She will put her hands or a blanket over her face and then move them really fast when you say "boo". It is so cute. She laughs at everything and her laugh is so contagious. Ava started crawling at 8 months. She would roll and scoot before that but at about 8 months she just took off. She can get just about anywhere. She loves climbing up and sliding down the stairs. She loves to stand up and walk across furniture. She is really fast and she likes us to chase her around. She gets into everything. She loves pulling everything out of the pantry and kitchen drawers. She loves to follow Calvin and Lily around and play with them. At her nine month Dr. appointment she weighed 18 lbs 13 oz and she was 28 inches long. That is 50% percentile for both. She has two new teeth on the top, they are the ones next to the middle. So she has two on top and two on bottom. She loves to eat, she loves to try everything we are eating, and she loves to stick her hands in her food and rub it everywhere. She babbles a lot! She can say mama, dada, baba, nana, hi, and all sort of other jibberish. She can shake her head no, no and nod her head yes. She will wave and clap her hands. She gets really excited and jumps or bounces up and down and claps. It is my favorite thing to watch her clap, because her face lights up when her hands make the clapping sound. She brings so much joy to our life. She is so happy and fun. We just love her so much. To sum it up, the other day Calvin said, "Mom, I don't want Ava to grow up because I want her to laugh like this forever. She is so cute!"

Ava didn't want to have her pictures taken. She just wanted to crawl around. Consequently, most of these are blurry from movement. But she did give me this half hearted smile when we let her play with Lily's fuzzy wuzzy.
