I passed down the dress I was blessed in to my little Lily bug to be blessed in. It was also made by my aunt Paula and Lily looked absolutely beautiful wearing it.

Random Pictures

Grandma and Grandpa went on a cruise with the Steven's side and brought Lily this cute dolphin shirt. She just loves that the mouth opens. And they made Calvin sooo happy by getting him a pirate shirt, flag and book. Calvin loves pirates, arghhh!

Ava's blessing day

Ava was blessed by Jon on June 27, 2010. Jon did a wonderful job of preparing himself with fasting and prayer. When he blessed Ava the spirit was very strong. The thing that stood out to me the most was that he blessed Ava to know the will of her Heavenly Father and to know how to follow the spirit. We had a fun luncheon at our house after wards and we were able to visit with many of our family and friends. Ava's beautiful blessing dress was made by my Aunt Paula. Paula also made my blessing dress which was passed down to Lily. Thank you Paula for the wonderful gift. Ava is such a wonderful addition to our family and we love her so much.

My neighbor Catrina is the owner of Knees and Toes Photography and she offered to take some newborn pictures of Ava. She did such a good job. Ava behaved perfectly the whole time and I just love these pictures.

Moab pictures

Jon is never going to do his own post, so I will just write what he told me about his trip to Moab. He said he had a blast going on the trails and he got to take Brandon and Shawna's boy Tyler in the blazer a lot and they had a good time. He really enjoyed 4-wheeling and looking at all of the cool things at the expo. But he missed us, I am adding that part :)
